Jay had a work thing in Amsterdam last week, and invited me to tag along. We decided to spend a few days after his conference in Paris, as I’d never been before, and it had been on my bucket list for a long time. I’m not the greatest traveler on earth, so doing a short jaunt over after Amsterdam was perfect for me– plus Jay is normally his most laid back self after he speaks at a conference so it was almost perfect timing, lol.
The conference in Amsterdam was awesome to say the VERY least. We were there for almost a week, and the weather was just PERRRRRFECT. It was cool outdoors and sprinkled a few times, but after the summer we had in Texas it was a welcome change. Plus, I was able to wear my shawl for the first time this season and I LOVED IT!!
I was going post some of the pics I took there, but honestly– just go look at my Instagram if you want to see the photos. They’ll come over here all compressed and shit anyway.
Ya’ll we ate so much fucking food over there that I can’t believe I didn’t gain weight while we were there. I’m going to end up doing a separate post for each of the places we ate, just in case, but that’s for another day.
In the end, after a gorgeous time in Amsterdam and Paris I have come to the conclusion that there is just ABSOLUTELY no place like home.
